Due to release tomorrow is the collaborative output of LOOK/SEE and Design Rehab. These shades are ode to my father who shaped my artistic childhood through wood crafting. It was my father who constructed my first drawing desk at the age of 10. Throughout my childhood (and even now), wood is used as a structural support system. The scent of sawdust livens my inner senses and brings me back to those humble beginnings.
A lacquered grey color approach was used on the outer frames, but the message is on the reverse: an illustrated wood grain pattern translated through various sized dots as a tribute to my father's wood projects.
All proceeds will be donated to the Urban Arts Partnership to help keep the interest of arts in our educational organizations. Here's to you dad, and all the future fathers who support their children's passions. Please visit LOOK/SEE to learn more about the collaboration.
Only 100 pairs were manufactured so don't sleep on this release. Get them here.
