I was standing at the Magic trade show two years ago, taken back at the lack of creativity and development of certain clothing brands. To my left was all-over print t-shirt company with shirts resembling a box of crayons symbolically melted with no creative direction, while to my right were diamond bedazzled shirts summing a simple t-shirt to feel like a wet rag draped over a body.

Without diverging too much, I proceeded on my journey and had the fortunate chance to meet Peter James Lee of Cassette brand. I've seen some of his jeans he designed before and respected the craftsmanship and care to attention, so naturally I was exited to meet the person who focused on quality threads and outfitting the "grown folk" populous. Since (and even before) then, his clothing label, Cassette has taken off with flying colors. The following two videos curated by Complex magazine really shows the insight and care behind this name we recognize as Cassette clothing. Check their 2008 fall line here.
